- Basic pool safety rules are posted on the fence behind the lifeguard's stand. Please read them as they are designed to prevent injuries.
- All children not yet potty trained are required to wear plastic underpants when entering either pool. One accident can shut down the pool for 24 hours so we try desperately to avoid them.
- Under no circumstances are glass containers (bottles, glasses etc.) permitted in the pool area. This is a rule that is extremely important as broken glass can shut down a pool for an extended period.
- Tables, lounge chairs and the kitchen area (including microwave and refrigerator) are for everyone's use. They will always be clean when the pool opens. If we clean up after ourselves during the day they will remain that way the entire time the pool is open. Please be considerate of the other members.
- The refrigerator is emptied each night so leaving things in it past the pool's closing hour is risky business.
- Please keep in mind that the lifeguard's main responsibility is to protect us from the inherent dangers associated with a large pool. If they perceive any activities to be dangerous they will ask for the activities to cease. If they do not receive cooperation they can then ask the responsible parties to leave the pool area. We will support them on this 100%.
- Finally on a personal note we would ask you to remember that when we and our family are at the pool we are also hoping to have a relaxing visit. If you experience a problem that is an emergency then by all means approach us and we will tend to it immediately. If however the problem is not of a critical nature then please jot down your suggestion or complaint and email us putting the word "pool" in the subject line. We will look into it as soon as possible.
- If everyone follows these simple rules I'm sure we'll have a great time at the pool this summer.
